When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Commentsi wish there were a way we could get an even bigger view of this piece--there's so much going on it. one of the things that's especially good about it is the way some of the shapes and figures in it merge and flow with the colors--those gorgeous colors, i would add--that envelope them, but never become indistinct. really well done!
I've changed the setting to bigger for you! Thanks for the comments!

-- SPACE ART CALENDARS FOR SALE just £8 each (THATS JUST $13US!!!) [link] www.amyhooton.com There is so much freedom in your work which I think is the reason it appeals to me so much. The colours have their own path and aren't restricted at all by the movement of the more defined elements of the image. It's almost as though the image is creating itself in front of my very eyes
Really beautiful work, really free and expressive style, an absolute pleasure to look at. -- Pixie-Queen: Prone to impromptu bouts of silliness *sticks tongue out and pulls funny face* -- SPACE ART CALENDARS FOR SALE just £8 each (THATS JUST $13US!!!) [link] www.amyhooton.com I'm glad you put in the bigger view, there is so much to look at and try to take in.
The dark twist near the bottom up through the cosmos like pattrens near the top, reaching on into the heavens indeed. Foilage like greens in the middle and what looks like a birds head at the top right, an ibis or heron. wild and fantastic, you are speaking your primal langauge so fluently. I have another artist recommendation for you, for shapes that become other shapes try Moosemama -- "No time for the old in and out; I've just come to read your meter" |
