I painted this last sunday after my lovely walk in the woods. I think its my favourite painted tree for ages. Worked on the golding all week so I could upload it for today's special traditional art day! :w00t: Hope you like it.

It is also for the :icontreesclub:'s contest themed Halloween and Trees! hope you can spot the relevance :XD:

There are millions on things to see in here, apart from Mr Pumpkin, there are Spiders webs, the Queen of Hearts with her golden crown, peacock feathers, faces, skeletons, creepy crawlies and even Side Show Bob! It reminds me of a little hyper curly ginger headed girl. :giggle:

Materials: Acrylic ink, acrylic paint, mixed media and gold pen on Paper. 45cm x 30cm

In a way of vaguely keeping with the season, Halloween Tree by *amyhooton is todays selection. It is an orgiastic cluster of color, and merits inspection at close range (read: the details are tight, yo). (Suggested by ~shyan19 and Featured by `zeruch)

In truth she's hard to see. Hiding in the branches, a timid wee thing, we found her last night after a glass or two up at the top left . :giggle: Her crown is most visible.
